Floundering in life for years, ANT moved to Los Angeles seeing fame and fortune. He began to run with a fast, party crowd and soon his world started unraveling. BULLIED at school for being different- gay, of immigrant parents, having funny lunches (everyone can fill in their own blanks) and peer pressure highlighting the need to fit in lead him into a dark dance with the devil. Years of alcohol, Meth.,and Heroin abuse brings him to the brink of insanity. Almost homeless, desperate for a way out, he chooses suicide. But life had another plan.
ANT’s amazing journey will take you through – self-doubt, internalized homophobia, depression and chemical dependency. And when he hits rock bottom…The light – inside all of us – began to shine.

Currently ANT lives in Los Angeles and has been clean and sober for nearly 6 years.
And most powerfully of all, they hear Ant tell the story of his longtime relationship with his partner, and of the mix of funny and sad moments that seasoned his last year, before dying of non-Hodgkins lymphoma.

I have never dealt with a nicer celebrity than Ant. He was so humble and grounded which made my job much easier. He barely requested anything and he was more than happy to meet people and sign autographs. He asked as many people as he could to go out to dinner with us after the show. At dinner he was just as funny as he was in his show and he gave us students genuine advice. He bought everyone at dinner drinks and he was even respectful at 5 am when I took him back to the airport. I would love to have him back anytime. I wanted to send him a thank you note. Can you send me his address so I can send him the thank you note, or can you send me your address so you can send him the thank you note? I greatly appreciate your sincerity and professionalism on Ant.

We had a great event in Chicago this past weekend. Thank you for all your help, and please extend a big thank you to ANT on behalf of everyone here at HRC.We had over 800 event attendees.
ANT was the best. Not only was his comic set stellar, but everyone (from staff to volunteers) loved working with him. He put on a truly great show… What a pro. We look forward to his taking part in future HRC
